I was wondering if someone could point me to a good book or website I can look at that goes into depth on various techniques such as:

- how to synchronize a pulse from a fast domain to a much slower clock domain.

- various handshaking protocols for transferring data between asynchronous clock domains.

- various data enabling type procedures depending on clock frequencies involved.

Much appreciated.

Hi.

You can refer 10 th chapter of Digital Integrated Circuits by Rabaey.

Also there are numerous topica already discussed in this forum.

Hope it helps.

Thanks
