i want to set 350 LEDs to work with 220 AC voltage and minimum power. how can i join them? please show me with a picture.

thanks a lot..

well i dont have draw package with me here, but easiest way is to just put all in series across the mains.....

and BANG!....when the mains gets its opposite polarity you loose all your LEDs!

...so what to do to avoid this is......

you put 175 in series going one way and 175 in series going the other way......you then link up these two series chains so you got like a ladder.....with LEDs on each side going opposite way.........

then either one is forward biased or the other.

LEDs usually have at least 1.8V drop so you shouldnt even need a dropping resistor.......

oops..hold on 175 * 1.8V = ...315V.....too low.

can't you add some more LEDs to get the volt drop of one chain comfortably over the mains peak voltage ?

or use higher volt drop LEDs....

red have low volt drop

green higher

blue higher still.
