Hi,

I would like to give me, if it is possible, a circuit about 4 bit up/down binary counter with D flip flops. the only inputs which should has are clock and direction. Also, I need the fucntions from the counter.

Try the logic diagram in the 74LS169 data sheet. It has some additional inputs and outputs, but you can delete them.

I don't understand "functions from the counter".
