Hi

How should I use the 'measure' statement in hspice to measure average delay between two points of a circuit? I want to get the delay between input and output of a multiplexer in transistor level circuit.

Thanks in advance

Average can be done when you a lot of samples. Delay through a cell will be constant unless you are doing monte carlo simulations or power noise simulations when the delay can vary. In hspice there is tran_cont command which will measure delay between two points for a multiple measurements. You can always put the data in a xls sheet and calculate the avg. Hspice will also do that.
