i want to simulate the harmanic distortion of the sampling&holding circuit of a pipeline ADC ,but i dont know how to do ?
can anybody help me?
thanks!!!

Sample and hold:

signal •( ∑(k =-00 to+00) delta(t)-delta(t-k•Ts) )*u(t)

delta-delta dirac
u-step function
k-number of the sample
*-convolution

The laplace transform of delta(t)-delta(t-K•T) is wellknown by 1+e^-s•k•T

To be continued, this is the ignition...

trans. analysis
fft

No tran and fft works.
You print the outputs at a interval given by your frequency. Wait until settles. Move it to matlab and compute fft there.

you can run a transient and then use calculator to specify which points are used for FFT, you should see distortion there. Be sure you sampled when the op settles.
