In a blackbox, the inputs don't matter and the output are tieX, but what about the inout pins? Constrained to Z?

Regards,
Bruno

Any blackbox needs to specify input V & f & load characteristics for both in & out in addition to transfer function.
Otherwise it is an unknown.

In the best cases we use the full matrix of s parameters.

Hi SunnySkyguy, thanks for the information, but I don't know If understood or expressed myself correctly
My situation is: I need to run ATPG with blackboxes, so I don't how to configure the blackboxes pins in relation to inout.
What colleagues told me is that the inputs don't matter and the outputs need to be X. But, for ATPG purposes, I need to constraint the inout pins to Z or they don't matter too?

Regards,
Bruno
