pads pcb macro

hello,
shortcut keys cant modified in PADS.
i tried to set a macro but it doesnt work.

for example, i want to switch in mils and metric with a shortcut. or etc.

is there anyone can set and modify macros code?

thank you

First create a macro for changing the units, assign a function key to this macro also check the option avaialble in the macro setting for displaying the macro in the menu list of Tools menu.

Now either you can use the assigned function key or use the macro listed under the menu Tools to run the macro.

Hope this helps. Good Luck.
Nagaraj.

thank you, but i tried lots of time but it doesnt work.
i record the macro, to change mils to metric.
when i record it, i open the preferences, i change the unit, and close the window. and i stop the macro.
when, play the macro, it doesnt do anything.

if you have some working sample macro codes, you can put them in here.

thank you.
