Magma has a windows NT version..
Not sure if it works on Xp..
but those guys dont do much development with the Windows version..
they concentrate on the Linux versions only..

Guys the Best option for you wud be to install VMWare.

This VMware is a Virtual Machine -- Unit which helps to emulate several environemnts on a single platform.

U can install Linux from XP and run programs any EDA tools from within windows thru Linux. It can support upto 10 Operatin systems at the same time.

I think that it is possible , but like a client of a Magma server linux... not stand alone...

right, they only provide the windows version for the client(gui), you can open the gui in windows, and connect to the real magma session(server) to do what you want, it looks like you are running the magma within windows, actually it's working on client-server mode.
