How to measure PIM3 or P1dB of an amplifier? Could someone give me some guide?

P1dB:you can measure it with a VNA with power sweep function
PIM3:typically, with a spectrum analyzer, two CW source and a power couple

p1db measurement

also u can measure the IP3 with VNA , but it must be equiped with third port ot make it comtrol a signal generator using GBIP

amplificateur + p1db

I think IM3 and P1dB can be measured by using SG and SA. They are described linearity of active circuit.
