I have a current line connected to a load, where I want to measure the AMPERAGE of . So I thought of using a CURRENT TRANSFORMER and get the analog input of that CT to 16F8xx family PIC IC . And to drive a LCD from that PIC to show the output of the current .

please guide me with this .

Use a ballast load resistor on the output of the CT and then a differential opamp to bias the signal at half the A2D range
