monostable vibrator

how to implement a monostable vibrator
can it be done using an 555 IC if so how

monostable vibrator circuit

Hi,

All 555 basic applications are discribded in its datasheet :

If you want a quick way of building circuit with 555 IC and learn a bit more about its principles.

I would highly recommend you to check this link because it explains almost everything about 555 IC and interesting circuits

555 monostabil

IN some applications v need a pulse of knowm ht & width genert in response to a
trigger signal. The width of pulse is predictable so its trailing edge can be used for timing purposes i.e to initiate a part task at a specified time.

yes a monostable vibrator can be implemented using the 555 IC
pls go thru data sheets of 555

Good one for IC555. Monostable using 555 is explained here...

monostable vibrators

the 555 monostabil multi vibrator use same design as with astabel multivibtator exept that the monostable multivibrator require input from pin no 2 of ic 555 and if there's pulse coming from the pin it will oscillate

555 monostable multivibrator

also you can build a very good monostable using 74ls122/123 I think it's better than using 555

Can a monostable multivibrator done using 741. If yes, i want the circuit.

Hi Tahmid & all,
So a ciruit, builded with (ECL) line receivers, is well knowed in the high speed puls technic too (from ca. 2 nsec pulswidths), some time called "pulse strecher"....
Greatings!

I will if someone could please highligth the uses of a monostable vibrator

Hi,
But you have it-2 posts befor, from Tahmid:)

On that you give into an start/trigger puls and it delivers for you an output puls with your wished width_C2&R3.

Please i need the diagram of the simplest inverter circuit

Added after 22 minutes:

Tahmid please,can you send a circuit for a (12v, 12mA) battery charger

Hi Olajide,
If you dont apply it: HCF4047, I think is the double MM 74LS/HC122/3 to select...
K.

Check pls fig. 10 in tis Fairchild application...
Apropos; what kind of time do you need?
