How to get the beta shown in above? Anyone can show the working step by step? Thanks!

Re: Feedback problem

kingmaker,
Beta is the proportion of the output that is fed back to the input. This is a simple voltage divider. Beta = R1/(R1 + R2).

Re: Feedback problem

Hi

Your question is fully explained in Sedra-smith. but basically, first detect the type of feedback which is voltage-voltage (parallel-series) in this case. Deactivate the feedback which means cut its input and output, (Do not ground it) apply a voltage source in the output end and then find the input. this is the beta you are looking for.

Check Sedra, and if you still have unsolved problems, just shout.

Cheers
