How to get 100% statment coverage and not 100% brach coverage?

An if without a corresponding else branch or a case without a corresponding default creates an implicit statement that, if not taken, it is not counted in branch coverage.
Code:
if (fsel == INDF_ADDRESS) begin
   fileaddr <= fsr[6:0];
end
There are no standards for "code coverage" so different vendors may report things differently.
 
A case statement is same thing , if you have not defined all the cases then branch coverage will not be 100% but code coverage may be 100% ...
