Hi all

I'm now learning SOC encounter

I'm wondering that how can I find the cell that can be used in the specifyScanCell order?

My friend told me that try to find the "Cell(flip-flop) with SI pin"

I don't know what it means

I tried to use "find IOPin" in SOCE with keyword "SI"

But I can't get any result

And I got another question

What are the tips to pick the flip-flop as scanchain's In and Out cell?

If I get so many "Cells with SI pin"

How can I know that which can be specified as In and which can be specified as Out in scanchain?

Thanks so much for your help

My English is poor, hope you can understand what I mean^^"

Thank you

I would think the cell library datasheet or documtation would tell you which flip flops to chose for scan. SOCE is not a scan synthesis tool, btw.
