I want to rearrange the position of the pins given in the protel library. Can anybody tell me how to do this. Say for example I have the 555 timer IC schematic part. I want to move pin1 to a different position. How to do this?. Also if I want to increase the length of the components, guide me how to do that.
Thanx in advance.
Regards,
Vamanan

1- double click on component
2- in component properties dialog, remove Lock pins check mark(in graphical section)
3- now you can move pin lead with mouse left click (and hold)

Hi Davood Amerion,
As per your guidance I was able to move the pins. But If I want to increase the length or width of the schematic component please tell me how to do that ?.
Thanx in advance.

remove lock pins as mentioned above,
then double click on any pin which you want to modify.

Hi,
I think there is a confusion in my wordings. Just I wanted to increase the size of the middle rectangle of the schematic IC component. I hope it is clear to you now. Please give me your valuable suggestion.

I dont know if it is posible in schematic editor!
but if you want to modify its size and shape,
i think, you can open its library in schematic library editor, and edit it.
note:
in this way , modification will be permanent.
