dear frns...plzz help

i have one problem regarding my design...iam designing a mixer in that after the transistor there will be an IF matching circuit followed by low pass filter...IF matching circuit is to match the transistor output impedance to 50 ohm of LPF input port.

as the mixer will generate Difference of two inputs,, and my IF frequecny is 10-30 MHz... plzz any one tell me how to design a IF matching circuit after the transistor , using transmission lines...iam using a distributed netwotk..so i require a IF matching circuit design using Transmission lines ....

any books or ieee papers to clarify my doubt...plzz reply ...iam using ADS simulator for my design..

are u feeding to LNA?

no my design consists ... after diplexer...following r the circuits...below

input matching circuit ------> Transistor -------> IF matching circuit ----->LPF---->IF
output

actually i am designing only the mixer not LNA infornt or after the mixer...plzz help me in designing IF matching circuit ....i.e output impedance of the transistor must match to the 50 ohm of the Low Pass Filter input port....

so i hope problem was understood , or else i will send the block diagram of my design....

thanking u.....

Hi naveeng,

I also have similar problem... have you solved the problem or not? Pls guide me on how to do the matching and how to design the mixer using distributed network.

thanks in advance
