how to design of 8:1 mux with 2GHz frequency.

In FPGA? Please be aware that you will not find any architecture capable of doing this function.

i have to design using cadence so is there any way of designing using 2GHz frequency.
i made the design using transmission gate, so is it fine.

Hi all,
Designing High speed devices became a real problem for front end designers since conventional tools for digital design can't satisfy their need in term of speed. I think that using an analog platform and designing at the transistor level is a solution.

Can you post the schematic of the mux.
Can you tell me the technology that you you used ( 90n, 65nm ?).
What speed did you reach ?
