astro tim file

Hi, could someone kindly teach me how to create TIM view in library for Astro? I already created CEL view & FRAM view in library by using Milkyway though.

tim file for astro

i am a junior in Astro.As i know ,creating TIM view mainly meaning to CTS,you can do as these:Clock Topplogy->Load TDF->Timing SetUp->Specify Clock Net->Auto Gated CTS->Skew Report->Optimize & Interactive CTS

library cel tim

Hi kinhooi,

Two methodology:
You can use synthesis library(.lib) or .db file to generate it.
1. synthisis library
In Astro tool bar , clf ---> .lib to clf or augLibCompiler
Compiles a reference library description ( in .lib format) to Synopsys' CLF format, and translates th .lib file into three discrete files with the fillowing postfixes: (.logic .power .timing).
cat three files in one(xxx.clf)
In Astro tool bar, clf --- > load clf or auLoadCLF
above step, you will genetate TIM and PWR view.
2. .db file
In Astro tool bar, cell library ---> library prepare
above setp, tools will direct to generate TIM and PWR view.

Best regards,
Chyau
