Guys,

I have a question in PCI design...

My question is, is it possible to create adaptor from Cyclone II EP2C8Q208 I/0 to PCIe or PCI with header ?
I saw a Cyclone II board but doesn't have PCI interface which I need...
what's the requirement for high frequency signal integrity ?

Thanks

Ive seen PCI done with a cyclone 1, so no problems with a cyclone 2. You will need a GX part to do PCIe.

You will need a PCI core, which you will either need to purchase or write yourself.
That board doesnt have a PCI connector.

Can you suggest me what is the type of PCI core ? Is it a chip ?
thanks

do you mean like this one ?

no, you can get soft IP cores that you can build into the C2. You then have to connect it to the backend logic yourself. I think PLDA sell one (through altera).
