It took me just a few minutes to do it manually in Textpad. I may be
able to write a macro to run in Textpad to make it even easier, someday.

change lines to read:
---------------------------------
/viaThermalType/d
/viaThermalWidth/d
/viaThermalSpokes/d
/autoPlowCopperPours/d
/thermal /d
/odbSettings/,/^[ ]*)/d
--------------------------
!!ALSO!!: "netColor" But don't delete the whole line, just the end part.
Example:
(net "GND" (isVisible False) (netColor "400080")
Becomes:
(net "GND" (isVisible False)

In any case, I brought my PCAD2002 asci database into Textpad, then
searched for "viaThermalType" and deleted each whole line with it in.
There were 8 instances corresponding with the 8 copper pours in my XXX
board. I did the same for "viaThermalWidth" , "viaThermalSpokes", and
"autoPlowCopperPours". I couldn't figure out the "thermal " so I
ignored it for now.
The last thing is to delete the odbSettings, etc.
That's it, it worked.

This might explain why I was getting limited success before. Some
boards don't have copper pours so maybe just deleting the odb stuff
would do it. Did it work for what you sent them today?
