Hi,
I want to connect power amplifier between the RFID Reader and RFID antenna to increase the signal strength and from that i want reade the RFID tags up to 80cm-1M.
What are the things need to consider in the designing.
We are doing this Development in UHF Range 800-950MHz.

Can any one help[ me in this considerations..............

Thanks
Krishna.

Consider, that the PA has to be bypassed on RX. Most likely automatical RX/TX switching will be required.

Mr. FvM, thanks for your response.

sorry, I am not good at English.
I have no work experience in industry, I joined in this week only.
If you have time please guide me.
I am working in POS Project.(Java Card)
My question is what things we need to consider for selection of PA in between RFID reader and Antenna.

Thanks in Advance
Krishna

The power antenna Gain plus TX power must be limited in a range. Power amplifier may be not a good choise.
