need basic help. have design of SCR probe for detecting water in boat bilge.
How can I build a simple solid state circuit so I can power alarm horn or light
without mechanical relay. The alarm horn should be 12v.

Thanks

Re: Transister relay

Make sure that SCR is rated for horn current, has sufficient heatsink and has enough gate sensitivity. MCR72-006 is one example that might work for you.
