How to bias CMOS image photodiode?

I am wondering how to bias CMOS image photodiode.

Should I connect NTAPs inside NWELL to VDD 3.3V?

or Just leave nwell be floating and connect PSUB to GND?

If it is possible, pleasde shot me any ideas.

NTAPs inside NWELL usually should be connected to the most positive voltage.

PSUB taps to GND, of course.

If only connect PSUB to GND, how can we get the reversed bias ?

or using the build-in bias voltage to get the reversed bias?

Photodiode reverse voltage depends on your application (light wavelengths and input power). Built-in voltage would be enough for UV to blue light, but for all visible (plus IR) light you'd better use extra reverse voltage. It also depends if you need/use an opAmp for gain - or not. For realization it's also necessary to know in which layers of your IC design the photodiode resides.

Show the present schematic of your circuit, pls!
