How to begin SoC design about baseband processor for navigation communication?

hi, everyone
I want to do a System on Chip design (SoC) about baseband processor for navigation communication, could someone give me some advise? how to begin?

you may find some meterial on the SoC architecture from the forum, and read some hiearachic on the processor.

Hello,
here is some basic point to folow
My advice is to start with basic function!
1. Firts - what this system must do.
2. Second - If you gonna to do some signal processing, type your algorithms
3. Make some block diagram of working algorithm
4. Retype your algrithms on CPU that you going to use
