Hello,

I have a 2(columns) × 20(pins per column) 1.27mm × 1.27mm (spacing) connector seat (female) fixed on my customized board, and I have 2 × 20 male pins to connect on them. Now here comes a headache for me: these pins are rather dense, and how can I somehow “fanout” pins through wires so I can conveniently connect them to a breadboard?

I considered asking a soldering worker to solder on each pin a wire. However, because these pins are too close, the ends of wires have a high change of touching each other, creating risks of short circuit between pins.

I contemplate cables like Google search “fanout cable”, but the images shows are actually for optical fibers.

Does there exist premade connectors for this purpose? I heard that there are FC (flexible connectors), but I wonder if any for 1.27mm × 1.27mm distance is available.

Many thanks,
Bob
