This construction may be useful when you have a home made Segway based on electronics Wheelie II.

The design is based on the popular and well-known display of the mobile phone Nokia 5110 (3310). The main assumption of this project was to display the necessary reference information about the state of the vehicle as well as the simplicity of execution. The whole device is enclosed in the housing KM100. Program written in Bascom parses the incoming data from the CPU to the RS232. LCD used ensure the opportunity for both vertical and horizontal addressing. All boards with text are bitmaps.

Presented here design is not a measuring instrument. Displayed boards allow you to get an idea of the state of your vehicle. It informs you about the direction and speed of the wheels, the status of accumulators. It also shows if the foot switch is activated.

Attachments to the original thread include the schematic, distribution of components and the face mask may be useful for cutting the hole in the housing.
