Hi everyone,
I would like to simulate a an infinte array of antennas over a frequency selective surface in HFSS (Electronic Desktop). The concept is described in the picture...
Unfortunately the two unit cells (the one for the antenna array and the one for the FSS) are different so the unit cell of the antenna is smaller than the unit cell of the FSS.
Is there a way to simulate the two unit cell separately and link the result together? Do you know any other solution to the problem described above?
P.S. The size of both unit cell is a constraint of the system and cannot be modified.

Thank you!

Sorry, but a periodic analysis won't work if the periods of your various substructures aren't the same. The best you can do is take the least common period (e.g., the supercell) and simulate that -- from your picture, it looks like maybe 7*dxArray?
