I have an array of two dipoles spaced lambda/2 apart, and according to Balanis textbook result, I should get a different radiation pattern when the excitations are 180 degrees apart in phase. In my simulation, however, I see no difference in the pattern when I change the phase of one of the excitation.

I was wondering if there was any other method of changing the phase of a voltage excitation, or if I am doing this incorrectly.

try to double clik on the voltage1or2 in your frame of waveport, scout !

how we insert phase in excitations...
i wanna feed two dioples +90 and -90 out of phase...

plz help me out...
best regards

Hi
when has two or more ports, pls right click "field overlays" and the click "Edit source", then you can set phase of ports!

Regards
Edmund
