Hello

Does HFSS allow to effectuate following simulations:

1. Apply to spiral coil an alternative voltage source with given frequency and
and amplitude and see magnetic field distribution (2D, 3D).

2. Apply altaernative magnetic field (with given strength) at some distance from coil and calculate induced voltage in coil.

Regards.

Pavel.

Hello
The 1. is direct task for HFSS
The 2. : You need draw the geometry of magnetic fiel source at some distance of Your coil. It may be another coil for ex.

Thank you for response Grig

The 1. is direct task for HFSS

I didn' t find (ver. 9) possibility to specify amplitude of alternative voltage source.
Moreover in HFSS guide I didn't find examples that show how to calculate distribution of magnetic field with exact values (for example at distance 10cm from center of coil the magnetic field strength is 1.56 A/m).

2.
Apply altaernative magnetic field (with given strength)

The same problem. I didn't find how to specify the strength.
Maybe you use v10.

Regards.
