Help please!
I am simulating radar cross sections in HFSS but I am a bit confused. It seems in theory that monostatic RCS and Bistatic RCS at theta=0, phi=0 with the same excitation should be the same. When for example, I simulate a 1 cm radius conducting sphere at 10 GHz I get -34.25 dB for Monostatic and -27.76 dB for bistatic at theta=0 phi=0.
The monostatic value fits with the theory assuming the units are in dB m^2 but I can't make sense of the bistatic value. Can anyone explain this?
