Hi,

I am still new to HFSS, and for now I am trying to simulate an inductor. I have the structure ready. I am trying to find a way to excite the two ends of the inductor. Previously, I used to define another metal as ground then define the excitation port (Lumped port) sheet between the ground and one end of the end of the inductor and do the same for the other end with the same ground metal. Is there another way to do it without the ground metal ?

If u need to fully characterize the inductor by solving its 2-port S parameter, this is the only way.
