help.. PC to 3310 interface

hello guys...

can someone help me how to retrieve/read SMS messages from a Nokia 3310 to a PC.. what programs to use? how are they communicating?

i already have an FBUS cable.... it is an RS232 type...
i tried using the hyper terminal of winxp... but i just dont know how to work it out....

i think it did help.. but can we use the 3310 unit on gnokii? i could not see any 3310 being mentioned....
