Hi all,
I've got a problem while simulate passive mixer with spectreRF.

I've already read the mixer simulation example in spectreRF.pdf
and there's an example for active mixer with LO in sinewave

But my question is .. I have a passive mixer and using square wave LO,
I don't know how to set the voltage source to do PSS simulation,
my voltage source now is "port" cell from "analogLib",
but the example has only shown the LO with sinewave..

Can any one help me with the square wave LO simulation for passive mixer?.. thank you!

Hii,
In that LO port instead of sine you set pulse and you give all the values for delay, rise, fall times and frequency of the square, time period and the high, low voltages ........It will work.........

and you also need to choose very large harmonics of the LO in the PSS table. Because large harmonics are more likely to approach a square wave signal.

the port type must be sin you connect your port to youre square wave generation buffers and then connect the buffer output to your mixer! i what is the problem!
