help needed on designing matching networks!

hi,

I am designing MW transistor power amplifier and while doing literature review i am really finding it dificult in understanding "how to design matching networks for transistors while designing PAs"......i really have gone through few text books but no one was very clear to me. Can any body refer me to a better text/material, i shall be very grateful to him.

there are loads of good books for amplifier matching network design. Which ones did you read?

u can refer to book by Gonzalez or Vendelin u will get a very good idea

u can use appcad s/w which is freely available on site of agilent technologies
