Tektronix TDS520,
Hi Everybody,
I need help in fixing a Tek TDS520 CRO.
Fault: No Display, all front panel LEDS are lit.
I have changed all SMD electros on the A11 DRAM & A10 Aquisition Module boards.
No visible sign of surface track corrosion due to the leaky electros
Downloaded the troubleshooting flow chart from the Tek web site. Followed the flow chart, set S1001's eighth switch to open. LED (DS1) keeps flashing .8 continously.
Voltages to the A11 DRAM on J27 are all OK.
J5 pins 3&4 is missing the 5.1 V but is available on the C300 + pad next to J5.
If the track is broken to J5 3&4 can I strap this pad to pins 3&4 of J5. I'm a bit reluctant to do this due to the lack of a circuit diagram.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Don
