Hi,

I want to design a circuit which will generate delay of 1/4 of the period.

For example

If i will give the input 100KHz with 0ns delay, my output should be 100KHz with delay of 25KHz.

Please any one help. It is very urgent.

Bye

Use a set of inverter to delay your signal

The solution depends on the required frequency range. For a small frequency band, an integrator performs the requested 90° phase shift, for wide band, this would be a complex filter. It's designated Hilbert transform filter in digital signal processing. It's generally easier to generate a 90° phase difference between two signals (relative phase shift) for wide band than an absolute 90° shift. The first can be done by allpass chains and is used e. g. for signal sideband modulation (frequency shift) of audio signals.

Hi,

I want to design for frequency components from very low frequency to 100MHz.

i.e., for any frequency my output should be 1/4 period of that particular frequency component.

Bye.
