i try to have dc voltage from 0.4 ac voltage using passive ac-dc doubler
but i d'ont know how connect the gate
normally to have a diode connect mosfet i connect the drain to gate
but when i connect the gate to source it give me more output
it is ok to connect the gate to source !!!!
Regardless of whether the topology above is functional or not, it seems that the circuit will hardly work with the threshold voltage Vgs in the same magnitude of the power supply itself.
Using a discrete MOSFET as rectifier diode makes no sense at all, because of the built-in substrate diode. By shorting gate to source, you deactivate the MOSFET and keep the substrate diode function only. Better use a general purpose silicon rectifier diode instead.
