help about difference between xilinx spartan 3 and 3e

Hi all

I am beginning a new project so I want to select one FPGA between
xilinx spartan 3 and 3e.
Can you tell me the major difference between xilinx spartan 3 and 3e?

Which one is more fit for (MDCT and IMDCT transform)? I want to use it in AAC (Advance Audio Coding ) process. (best for a certain type of device)

Now I am looking some HDL codes or materials on AAC (Advance Audio Coding ) process.can you give me some advices .

By the way anyone know where can download Xilinx spartan -3e Starter kit domo borad schematics

The demo board schematics will probably be downloadable whenever Xilinx gets around to shipping the product.
