When I simulate a bandgap circuit using .TRAN, if the method=trapezoidal, the bandgap's voltage will be variable according to different step size, for example, if the step size =1u, it outputs standard 1.2V, if the step size =1ns, the bandgap outputs about 1.8V! I change the simulation method from trapezoidal to gear, the problem is solved, and the bandgap output value 1.2V will not be changed no matter what step size is. When the step size=1ns, it still outputs 1.2V.
Now I am very confused, is the bandgap circuit right or not? Please give me instruction, thank you very much.
