capacitive load resistive load

It frequently appears in the literature that OTAs are not suitable to drive heavy resistive load but can drive heavy capacitive load. does heavy resistive load refer to small resistor and heavy capacitive load refer to large capacitor? please help to dismiss my confusion, thks!

Yes, that is what the terms refer to.

You may want to translate heavy load to high load current or low impedance.
