I am very new to the dsPIC30F, and will be using it for the first time soon. Have you used it? If so, what software tools did you use? What compiler did you use?

i'm using the dsPIC30F with C30 of Microchip. This software is available on Microchip's site. There are also some libraries with it.

Hi,

I am using dsPIC for my BLDC motor controller. I am using C30 from Microchip. You can download the demo to use, however it will expire after certain number of days, I cannot remember how many days, but it still compile full code except cannot use optimize features. Still good for me. Thank you.

What happens after it expires? Can you just download it again?

After it expires, you can still use it, no need to reinstall.
