Hello everyone,
I have an issue about test points, especially for RF/IF systems.
I'm designing a RF receiver with a single frequency conversion. I would like to check some parameters like power level at output of each component in order to verify if the predicted gain is correct or there are some problems due to layout implementation or other. Even the input and output impedence of each component is important to check.
My idea is to insert some test points, but at RF (2 GHz) and IF (400 MHz) they could cause second order effects like impedence variations on lines, EMI, etc.
What would you suggest to do about this issue?
Many thanks.
Regards,

Antonio
