GSM based Security System with QT110 and Microcontroller

I am planing to develop GSM based Security System with touch sensor. I am opting for QT110 as touch sensor and I may go for 8051 or AVR Atmega series as
controller. If some one worked on this kind of system please let me know the difficulties associated with the development using QT110 and GSM module
