Hi there,

i am using telit gsm/gprs module ge865-quad for gps data logging.
i have managed to make a get request from module to server and log the data.
now i want to do the opposite. I want the server to send a get request to the module.
Althought the modem receives the get request, i cannot figure it out what should be the http response to the server in order the client browser to complete the request. The browser continues loading until timeout error.

i have tried as a response the following:
1)
\x0D\x0A
2)
\x0D\x0A\x0D\x0A
3)
HTTP/1.1 200 OK \x0D\x0A\x0D\x0A
4)
\x0D\x0AHTTP/1.1 200 OK \x0D\x0A\x0D\x0A
5)
\x0D\x0A\x0D\x0AHTTP/1.1 200 OK \x0D\x0A\x0D\x0A

any ideas?

thanks in advance

I have managed to find the appropriete http response so that the client browser to display the response and end the transmission but i am getting a NO CARRIER at the gprs side.

any ideas?

thanks

horace thanks for the response

i should explain my problem better because your answer has nothing to do with it.

i am sending a http get request from a webserver to a gprs module.
the module successufully receives the request and responses with an http response.
At the end of the response i get a NO CARRIER at the module even thought the server has received the answer and the connection is closed.
my question is why this NO CARRIER occurs?

any ideas?

thanks

This is my http response:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK<CR><LF>Connection:close<CR><LF>Accept-Ranges: bytes<CR><LF>Content-Type:text/html<CR><LF>Content-Length: 3<CR><LF><CR><LF>sem

Yes i have the guide... thanks for your time.
