Getting data from TomTom GPS via Bluetooth port

hello,
I want to log my tom tom one gps via its bluetooth connection,
want to use the bluetooth com port to save positions over time.

Can anybody help with this?

Hi

1st you should be able to use the bluetooth com port.
I think it will be simple like accessing any come port.
Internet is full of projects to read from com port.

2nd you need to parse the data you get from your GPS.
Most probably it's sent in NMEA0.138 formate.
Just download the formate form internet understand it and parse your data.

there were some projects published in Circuit celler magazine
try to check it.

Thanks for the infos... anyway... to my knowledge TOM TOM don't send
any info via its Bluetooth port.
You're right, it sends data in NMEA format so I will use a parser to
get what I need.

I found what I was looking for on the internet... its name is NMEA LOGGER,
though still have to try it !! I will check it as soon as i have some free time.

I don't have a big idea about TOM TOM , but it semed to me from your question that it's sending using bluetooth .
