full subtractor versus two's complement full adder for subtraction

I request you to let me know if full subtractors are used in practice as opposed to implementing subtraction as two's complement addition.
 

2s compliment is the standard way of doing all integer arithmetic. So"full subtractirs" are a bit pointless.

I read that as "full subcontractors" and went "heuh?!?". After re-reading it twice the world suddenly made sense again.

Well, for sufficiently adjusted values of "sense".
