Free or cheap version of Mentor PADs standard?

Hi,
Since Mentor PADs is out of date and now replaced by PAD pro, is Mentor PADs standard now a free download?

I can find lots of sites offering mentor PADS standard as a free download but they seem dodgy, and try to get you to download other weird stuff first.
Do you know where i can download a good Mentor PADs standard? (for free or a small price)

I might suggest surveying the many open source PCB CAD
options, for ones which at least support PADS database I/O.
You might find one or more has the capabilities you require.

Too much "churn" in the formerly-standalone, now-big-CAD-
property tools as the big vendors want to drive you out of
low cost into flagship products (with corresponding pricing
and a license that has you by the neck).
