Hi Guys,

I am a novice to the field of FPGA. I would like to learn from the basics of FPGA to FPGA prototyping. Is there any good book or material that you can suggest/share me so that it would be a great kick start for me.

Thanks in advance,

Sakthi.

The FPGA vendors (Xilinx, Lattice, Altera, etc.) all have lots of information on their sites. Start there. Also, just do a Internet search; there's plenty of information out there. You can download software for free from the vendors so you can simulate code, etc. without even having to buy anything.

Hey!

Best site I found very helpful when I was starting was

www.fpga4fun.com
www.asic-world.com

You will find simple programs and examples , esp. in fpga4fun, while the 2nd site will more help you in learning.

For learning making a little advance test benches and simulation models I think: www.testbench.in

It is a good website. But do not go to this site unless you have learnt a good amount and have made simple programs
and test benches and have simulated them

Best of Luck.
Shan
