i have a pid cotroller vhdl code, and i wanna synthesize it on an fpga chip.........before i do it i need to check the code and simulate it...........can anyone help me with that?
 

You can put it in Xilinx environment and check, simulate and implement:

You can download the software (as I know, its version now is ISE 9.2i).
 

well in order to validate the functionality of the code u need to simulate it for that u can use modelsim of symphony
 

there are some free simulator.you can search with google.
