image processing fft

hi..........
i am in M.Tech VLSI design..
i choose an IEEE paper "a method to perform fft using primitive image transformations". as my Project..
it is related to image processing...
problem is i am unable to collect details on this topic... i need architectural details of this topic.. can u suggest some way to go ahead.. hoping for ur reply..
